What is the PSA?
The Parent Staff Association (PSA) is an organisation that supports Hounslow Town Primary School. All parents, carers and members of staff are automatically members of the PSA. Our goal is to organise fun community events and raise important funds for the school. We have a committee of both parents and staff who meet very often.
Why have we formed a PSA?
All the funds raised will support the school in delivering a great education for all children as well as enhancing school life. Most importantly it is for parents, staff and children to socialise and build a great school community.
What kinds of events?
So far we have held a Disco, Easter Raffle and Cake sale. We are looking forward to hosting our biggest event of the year so far – The Summer Fair 19th July 2019.
What have we achieved?
This year we raised over £1,500 in funds for the school. Our current project is raising enough funds to buy benches for the outdoor areas, for all the school community to use.
How do I get involved?
Keep an eye on the PSA noticeboard outside the school reception.
Volunteer to help at some of our events by emailing Hounslowtown.firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have more time to spare, there are various Committee positions and Class Reps positions and we hold an AGM where these are voted in. Again, email Hounslowtown.email@example.com to find out more.
