School gates are open from 8.45am and close shortly after 3.30pm

CENTRE Pupils are escorted off the transport in the school car park into the school building. They are usually escorted to their classes by Rainbow staff. | |
| Children arriving after 9.00am must report to the office to be registered as late. They collect a late slip, which means they are registered, and are sent straight to class. |
9.00– 10.30 am | Lesson Time for Key Stage 1 and 2 |

3.15 -3.20pm | End of school – classroom external doors are opened and parents wait for their children to be released by the Classteacher. Children should only use the front door when leaving the school following an ‘after school activity’. This will be the meeting point for parents on these occasions. If parents of Upper KS2 children want their children to go home on their own, they must send in a letter requesting the permission. Any children not met by parents will be sent to the school office to wait. |
The class teacher will keep children who are not collected as normal until 3.30pm. They will then inform the school office. If we are unable to make contact with yourself, the Head teacher will be informed. At 3.30pm children who have not been collected will be placed in the After School Play scheme for which a charge will be made. In the event of any change to the normal arrangements the school should be informed at the earliest opportunity. For any children left after 3.45 p.m. will are obliged to report matters to Social Services in accordance with local authority requirements.
